Our TeamMeet our MembersHeatherI have been attending since 1996. I have loved skiing since I was a kid, but being from NY I had only experienced the Vermont slopes. With the airline club, I was able to ski the big resorts out west and what a difference! Real powder! I soon started to race for Northwest and that rekindled my competitive spirit. I now race in the A division but still have a long way to go to catch the "fast" girls! I really enjoy the parties, especially theme party night on Wednesdays. I like to dance and soon after joining, realized that there are lots of cute, athletic, fun guys in the club too! I'm looking forward to another great season and hope that Team Delta can hold on to our title as NAASF champions! ScottyMy ski club friends call me Scotty. DSSC member since 1991. I grew up skiing but mostly at the smaller resorts throughout the Pacific Northwest. The ski club gave us a reason (and the great group discounts) to expand our skiing to not only the best resorts in the U.S. but to many of the top European resorts as well. The group of lifelong friends I have made from airlines all over the world is priceless. DSSC is now one of the largest ski and snowboard clubs in NAASF and we look forward to defending our team titles. Think snow! RobI started skiing in my thirties. Late bloomer. When I first came to SLC, I heard about Delta Ski & Snowboard Club. Since joining in 1999, I have made some of the greatest friendships, and been to some awesome resorts in N. America, as well as Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden & Finland. I've also become a much better skier. (Okay, I sound like a commercial!) But seriously, it's a blast! The parties are fun, the resorts are excellent, and the people are real friends. I've been V. President, & President of the club, and I'm currently a board member. Needless to say, joining the club is one of the best things I've ever done! Hope to see you out there on the slopes! SarahI came to my first ski week in 2005 at Steamboat, CO. I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I had heard that the parties were pretty wild, and I'd never raced before. I had so much fun at my first ski week, that I've rarely missed one since. I've made some great friends from many different airlines. I also was able to improve my skiing considerably since joining the club. The ski instruction that I received at the Copper Mountain Clinics has really been a big help. I never thought I would be ski racing before I joined the club, but now I really get a kick out of racing. And yes, we do have a lot of fun at the parties.
